Cool Minipet Attack!!

I think it would be hilarious to see a little rurik or shiro hacking at a monsters ankles. They wouldn't do any damage but just seeing them try would be enough.

The mini could use a similar AI to the henchies and heroes where they run with you when you run away.

I think there should be a setting that could possibly go along with a slot for equipping miniatures that would make them go on the offensive. This slot could also have the option to not show them, or just have them follow you.

I've seen the others topics about the character slot and that wasn't meant to be my topic but it seemed to go along with it.

What do you think?

Might cause some lag on slower systems which would be kinda stupid if its supposed to just be a novality thing.

Also I think it would be super cool to have minipets fight each other, even if the contest was purely random. Friends could challenge each other in a minipet arena. Which could be a great gold sink. Just a simple text line would be fun "____ attacks ____..." "_____ shows him/her who's boss!" "______ whimpers and runs away." This could give us some entertainment in the outposts and guild hall.

My alliance could finally answer the age old question of "Who would win in a fight...Shiro, Rurik, or a Siege Turtle" My moneys on the turtle...

It'd be an awesome feature. I like the idea of letting people have minipet fights in towns and outposts (with some betting, maybe? ), but I don't know how laggy it could be for people with slow computers.

This is a fun little idea that won't affect the game at all on any level. Having minipets in a mission doing random things will lag the server as much as Unwaking Waters does with 16 people (Or AB). It's the little things that makes a game fun... Even if they're really small.

umm ok. you obviously dont have a clue since this has been a dead horse that has been beaten over and over again. there is no purpose for it and it has already been adressed that it would NOT be implimented. so before you open your mouth and flame me, learn something first...

You're right. That was rude of me. I take back what I said about you avatar and it being linked to you.

As for the topic, I was unaware of the fact that it had been suggested before due to the fact that I don't view every single topic that meanders through this forum. Perhaps you would be kind enough to post a link for the rest of us to mourn the dead horse. Thanks in advanced.

OK i read the link posted above. In that thread everyone said no to the idea. I think it is because he sugested the the mini give damage and that could change the out come of the battle. But in this thread there is no damage givin and seems that most like the idea that the animation would be fun to see.

So once again

0dmg might not even be good, because it will still trigger some effects like balthazar spirit's energy gain :[
